Come and Paint with me in my Cincinnati Studio !
This one day workshop will introduce the fun process and effects of cold wax medium . Students will experiment with oil pigments, pigment sticks, LOTS of fun tools and more while learning how to add texture , mark making, and fun elements with cold wax. No heat is necessary for this process. Students will leave with fundamentals , techniques , and painting works on both paper and cradled panel boards that can be further explored.
Students will be provided with both oil paper and small cradled panels and all tools to explore techniques . Students will just need to bring their choice of colors in oil paints and a painting apron or painting shirt. Odorless solvent, mediums, and cold wax medium, tools, substrates, gloves , wipes, and all other pigments will be provided in class.
Light snacks and water bottles are provided but you may bring your own lunch and snacks to class if desired :)
20.00 materials fee to be collected at beginning of class.
I believe that small class environments enhance student experiences in participation , absorption, and emersion in to techniques. Workshops in my studio are limited to a maximum of 5 participants and often limited to 4. Spaces fill quickly .
Cancellations must be made no less than 30 days prior to workshop. If the date less than 30 days prior to workshop no refunds can be given. You may sell your spot to another artist to take your place if you cannot attend. No shows cannot be refunded and late arrivals cannot be partially refunded . If situation arrises that participant is unable to attend less than 2 weeks prior to the workshop the participant may be able to transfer the payment to another Shari Replogle workshop. This is at the sole discretion of the instructor please contact directly if there is an issue. If for any emergency reason the workshop is cancelled a full refund will be issued by instructor.
