Happy Wax on Wednesdays !
Recently I began a new photo encaustic series. The idea for the series was to use the same image for each painting using different aspects of the image during printing, and also using the photo encaustic process to build layers and create a completely different narrative for each piece. This week on Wax on Wednesdays on Youtube I am showing an easy stress free way of mounting your images safely to the cradle board so that you can dive in and begin adding your visual story through encaustic. Would you like to join me for this entire photo encaustic journey ? As a bonus workshop for my Patreon members, for the next 4 weeks I am showing 4 of these paintings through the entire process start to finish as a bonus photo encaustic workshop! You can sign up to be a member of my Patreon channel at any time, and have access to all of the videos for the level you subscribed to for as long as you choose to subscribe. You can also raise or drop your level of member ship any time. For instance if you are a "Busy Bee "(just 4.99!) level member you receive all of the bonus Wax on Wednesday content (including this photo encaustic workshop! ) . But let's say you see a couple of projects you like in the "Mover and Shaker" level (11.99) that month . You can move up for that month and enjoy all of the video content available on Monday Warmups, and if you would like to you can then change your membership to go back to being a "Busy Bee" the very next month :) All of the levels are a lot of weekly and monthly content for much, much , less than the price of a full workshop!
Supplies I used this week:
Each week I list the supplies I used in the video here on the blog for you so that you can see and easily find the items used for that week's technique . If you purchase items from the links provided it sometimes generates a few cents in commission which goes right back in to creating videos for you on the youtube channel. It does not raise the cost for you in any way, and is the same link you would find on a regular amazon prime search . Thank you ahead for you support of Wax on Wednesdays in any way ! Also , although the photos here can help you easily find the product . I also recommend that you look at your local art /hobby store to make sure you are getting the lowest price. Sometimes with weekly 40% off coupons basic items can be found at a better price. If you are receiving this blog post via email click on the live link to the post so that you can view the supply links .
