Happy Inktober !
India ink is such a wonderful addition to encaustic painting and at the top of my go to medium list in my own studio. It has been fun to focus an entire month on it's versatility when using it in encaustic. One of my favorite papers to paint on with encaustic is Unryu rice paper. We explore this extensively in "Encausticology Paper Journey " workshop.
Even little tid bits of left over papers can be
brought to life and new interest with a little fun mark making session with black India ink. This week I take some of those left over painted papers and create some fun mini collage pieces. Supplies I used this week:
